Why we built QuickPick

For years we researched big purchases the hard way: rows in Excel for required features, personal scores for each candidate, Reddit for honest drawbacks, forums for reported issues, checks against serious top lists, and rankings from YouTube and trusted tech sites folded into one scoring system. We combined those scores with price to chase the best price-to-performance—not vibes, but math—and it worked, at the cost of hours every time.

That level of rigor gets you close to the picks you'd trust after a deep dive, but almost nobody has the time—or wants to rebuild the same spreadsheet ritual for every buy.

So the founders poured that workflow and judgment into QuickPick and still use it for their own purchases: the same kind of structured comparison in minutes instead of hours, for anyone who shops online.
